The Bendo Bridge
The Bendo bridge is on Conklin Road on the Willowemoc Creek. Bendo was built in the nearby town of Livingston Manor in 1860, and was moved to the Conklin Road site in 1913. The bridge is open and there are public fishing spots all along the Willowemoc. There is also a campground and general store right at the bridge. Once you cross the bridge, there's public parking and decent hiking opportunities. We walked with a few friendly chickens and observed a goat who had a large goose as a best friend --(the goose was perched on the goat.)
