Today we enjoyed a view of Yonkers, NY from the top of Palisades Cliffs at Alpine NJ. The Palisades start across the Hudson from NYC, continue north through the Hudson River Valley to Newburgh, NY. There are scenic lookouts all along the way, including a hiking trail and many parks. Hiking the entire way is possible, although we've only done loop hikes here and there.More Palisades info and photos here
